Who we are

The man who quotes your job is the man on your job.

We are a family-run full service design and construction company that provides a finished product of durability, quality and excellence. From custom cabinetry to full renovations, Lincoln Builders is a company that embraces innovation and superiority in building.

Owner Marshall Juarez has been building in San Jose for decades, holding both a B General Building and a C-33 Painting & Decorating classification under one license. He does not run this from an office. He is out meeting subs, walking sites, checking the work that is about to get covered up and putting his own hands on the job, which is why the finish holds up.

  • Owner on site daily, not a project manager you never meet
  • Written scope and price before any work starts
  • Free estimates across San Jose and Santa Clara County

On site with Marshall

The owner is in the field, every day.

Most builders your size hand the job to a project manager and send you an invoice. Marshall Juarez runs his projects from the site: meeting contractors, walking the work, reviewing progress with the crews and overseeing every project from start to finish.

Meeting the subs
01

Meeting the subs

Every trade that touches your project gets briefed by Marshall in person, on site, before they start. Nothing gets scheduled by text and hoped for.

Walking the job site
02

Walking the job site

He walks the work daily. Framing, rough-in, waterproofing: the things that get covered up are the things he checks first.

Reviewing progress
03

Reviewing progress

Tile lines, trim returns, paint cut lines. Marshall inspects the detail work himself and calls it back if it is not right.

Working with the crews
04

Working with the crews

This is a family crew, and the owner still puts his hands on the job. That is why the standard holds when nobody is watching.

Start to finish
05

Start to finish

Same face at the estimate, the mid-build walk and the final punch list. One person is accountable for your project the entire way.

Questions

Before you call.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Lincoln Builders holds California CSLB license #977132, a B General Building classification and a C-33 Painting & Decorating classification, active since September 2012, with a $25,000 contractor bond. You can verify the license yourself at cslb.ca.gov.
What areas do you serve?
San Jose and the surrounding Santa Clara County communities, from our shop on Willow Street in Willow Glen.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates are free. Call (408) 299-0367 or send the form and we will schedule a walkthrough.
What does a project start at?
Kitchen remodels start around $10,000 and bathroom remodels around $4,000, depending on scope, finishes and the condition of what is behind the walls. ADUs, additions, new construction and commercial build-outs are quoted per plan. You get a written scope and price before any work begins.
Who will I be working with?
Marshall Juarez, the owner. He is on your job site personally: meeting the subs, walking the work, reviewing progress and running the crew from the first walkthrough to the final punch list. You are not handed off to a project manager you have never met.
Do you handle permits and plans?
Yes. On ADUs, additions and new construction we work through plan review and permitting with the city so the schedule is built around the approvals, not surprised by them.
